Sales Motivational Quotes

I wanted to share a handful of my favorite sales motivational quotes.  I think quotes are great for a quick recharge but nothing will ever beat action.  Enjoy the sales quotes but remember that if you want to get better at selling, you have to pick up the phone and make the call.

Sales Motivational Quotes

“The most unprofitable item ever manufactured is an excuse.” – John Mason

I think most people will find a reason not to be successful.  They will blame another person, or another department for losing the sale.  I’m not saying another person couldn’t lose the sale for you but you need to look at yourself before anything else.  And I’d be willing to bet that 9 out of 10 times, YOU could have done something better.

“All progress takes place outside the comfort zone.” – Michael John Bobak

I’m certainly guilty of staying in my comfort zone for too long.  We all are.  But they only way any of us will ever get better is to get out of our comfort zone.  This isn’t going to be easy but the more you put yourself out there, the more you’ll end up growing.

“The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today.” – Franklin D. Roosevelt

Doubt is a lack of confidence.  Tomorrow is definitely a scary concept but if you put in the work today then tomorrow is simply a by product of what you accomplished today.  And just think what you could accomplish tomorrow, if you focused on being better today than you were yesterday.

“The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will.” – Vince Lombardi

This quote is probably one of my all time favorites.  Grit, grind and attitude will take you farther than just talent.  You certainly need some talent to be successful but the real winners have the will to win.  They’re willing to do all the little things that most people think don’t matter.  But it all matters.  Every single detail.  Leave a legacy of the hardest working individual rather than the just someone who had talent but never really reached their potential.

“Whenever an individual or a business decides that success has been attained, progress stops.” – Thomas J. Watson Jr.

You should always celebrate your successes but you should never be satisfied.  There is ALWAYS room for improvement.  If you believe that then you’ll be celebrating success a whole bunch of times and raising the bar for the next one.

I’d love to hear what some of your favorite sales motivational quotes are.  Let me know.
